Business Manager – Government Business (Regional)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage government business opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with state/central government departments, municipal corporations, PSUs, and agencies.
  • Knowledge about the entire sales cycle: opportunity identification, proposal preparation, tender participation, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely reporting and coordination with Head Office.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and business updates.
  • Support operations and execution of government projects when required.

Regional Focus

  • Mumbai (Western Region): Working Experience with Maharashtra Government Departments, PSUs, and local municipal bodies. Knowledge of Marathi preferred.
  • Delhi/NCR (Northern Region): Expertise in working with Central Government Departments, NIC/NICSI, Delhi-based PSUs, and agencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business/Management/Engineering.
  • 7–10 yrs experience in govt. business in the local region.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, tendering & empanelment.
  • Excellent communication (English/Hindi + regional preferred).
  • Good in analysis, proposals & negotiations.
  • Local candidate with strong govt. network.

Self-driven, with strong interpersonal skills.
